Amazing experiences in Tetebatu, going eel fishing, making coconut oil, attending Ukenk's cousins wedding, seeing local weaving, and the general kindness and hospitality I received from Ukenk, Ibriham, and Heri on my visit there.
I was treated like family, and was able to see the local Sasak peoples way of life.
There are still many things that I haven't experienced there yet so I will be back!
At the time I was there my phone also became broken and Ibriham drove me around for many hours over two days, helping me get it sorted whilst also taking me to some temples and local crafts on the way.
Set in beautiful rice paddies away from the hustle of city life this is a truly peaceful and enjoyable experience.
