🌿 Itinerary

08:30–09:00 | Welcome at Lombok Heritage Basecamp
Begin your day with local herbal tea and traditional snacks like cassava fritters. Meet your artisan mentor, learn about bamboo’s cultural roots, and receive a safety briefing.

09:00–10:30 | Bamboo Forest Walk & Harvesting Ritual
Trek into a nearby bamboo forest to learn how bamboo is grown, selected, and ethically harvested. Join a short harvesting demo and try your hand at cutting bamboo using traditional tools.

10:30–12:30 | Hands-On Bamboo Craft Workshop
Back at the artisan’s open-air studio, learn to split, smooth, and shape bamboo. Choose your project:

  • Bamboo Coffee or Tea Cup

  • A bamboo wind chime

  • A traditional bamboo flute


All tools are provided, and you'll receive expert support through each step—from weaving to decorating with traditional motifs.

12:30–13:30 | Traditional Sasak Lunch
Dine in a bamboo pavilion with panoramic views. Menu includes:

  • Grilled Ayam Bakar (spicy chicken)

  • Sayur Santan Paku (fern curry)

  • Plecing Kangkung (water spinach with sambal)

  • Coconut sambal and local rice


13:30–15:00 | Final Touches & Decorating
Add natural dyes or hand-carved etchings to your bamboo creation. Learn the meanings behind traditional Sasak patterns. Once finished, your piece will be wrapped sustainably, and you'll receive a Certificate of Participation.

15:00–15:30 | Cultural Reflection & Photo Session
